Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, both Drs. Tack and Schell specialize in spinal surgery. They completed spinal surgery fellowships at Chicago’s Rush University Medical Center. Their continued education also has focused on conditions affecting all levels of the spine, including the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac regions.

 

For individuals of all ages, Drs. Tack and Schell evaluate a broad range of conditions and recommend non-surgical therapies or surgical alternatives, with the goal of achieving the most optimal quality of life for the patient. They diagnose and treat cervical and lumbar disc disorders, spinal stenosis, spinal arthritis, scoliosis, and acute & chronic neck and low-back pain.Both have extensive surgical experience performing microdiscectomy, cervical discectomy and fusion, cervical and lumbar laminectomy, and cervical and lumbar spinal fusion.
