Dr. Edward Hamming, the senior partner of our practice, has served our community since 1981. He sees patients at Condell Medical Center, Hawthorne Surgical Center, Lake Forest Hospital, and Victory Memorial Hospital (Vista East). And, his practice interests include General Orthopaedics, joint replacement, and trauma care.

Dr. Hamming received his B.A. in Pre-Med from Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois in 1972. He received his M.D. in 1976 from the University of Illinois, Chicago and completed his internship and residency at Northwestern University in 1981.

Board certified, he is a member of the Lake County Medical Society and the American Academy of Orthpaedic Surgeons. He serves on the board of the Lake County Boys and Girls Clubs and he is a team physician for Zion Benton High School and Waukegan Community High School sports teams.

Dr. Hamming and his wife, Dr. Nancy Hamming, have three children, David, Mark, and Lisa.
