Dr. Dugan received his B.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana in 1974, his M.S. in Physiology from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 1977, and his M.D. from Louisiana State University Medical Center in 1983. He completed his internship and residency at Northwestern University in 1988. Dr Dugan then joined our team the same year.

Practicing General Adult and Pediatric Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and Total Joint Replacement, Dr. Dugan sees patients at Condell Medical Center, Lake Forest Hospital, and Victory Memorial Hospital (Vista East) and is the Medical Director of the Hawthorne Surgical Center.

Dr. Dugan is a member of the Lake County Medical Society, Chicago Orthopaedic Society, Northern American Fracture Association, Irish-American Orthopaedic Society, College of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a member of the Illinois Division of Children’s Care, a treating physician at the Lake County Children’s Orthopaedic Clinic in Gurnee, and a Team Physician for the Chicago Wolves.

Dr. Dugan has three children, Courtney, Conner, and Moira.
